One main research goal is to explore novel materials which can be applied energy devices such as photovoltaic (solar) cells. Our studies rely on deriving a comprehensive understanding of the chemical and physical properties of the materials and heterogeneous interfaces.
01
02. Device optimization / Record breaking
Our research concerns the optimization of thin film materials and devices. Various strategies such as composition, additive, and interface engineering are deployed to enable future device performance and functionality improvements.
02
03. Demonstration
We aim to demonstrate various applications of next generation optical/electrical functional materials such as metal halide perovskites. The applications include fiber-shaped solar cells, transistors, x-ray detectors, and lasers.
